Conditions of sale
Ownership and title in the goods remain with Redgrave Home Fabrics, or associated / subsidiary companies (herein after called Redgraves) until the purchase price and all other monies owing by the customer to Redgraves Home Fabrics in respect thereof shall have been paid notwithstanding that the goods may have been sooner delivered for (actually or by deemed delivery to the customer, and until such payment is made in full the customer shall hold the goods for Redgraves Home Fabrics and/or as its Agent or Mercantile Agent but without power to raise money on the security of the goods.
If any of the goods are sold or otherwise disposed of by the customer before ownership and title pass in accordance with clause (1) then the customer, If it receives the proceeds of such sale or disposition, shall hold the proceeds of such sale of disposition upon trust of Redgraves and shall be accountable to Redgraves Home Fabrics for such proceeds until the purchase price and other monies owing by the customer to Redgraves in respect of the goods have been paid in full.
If any of the goods are incorporated with other goods to form new goods before ownership and title pass in accordance with clause (1) then Redgraves Home Fabrics shall be entitled to take any (by force if necessary) steps to retrieve its goods including the right to separate any new goods Into which Redgraves Home Fabrics goods have been incorporated and resume possession of Redgraves Home Fabrics goods until the purchase price and other monies owing by the customer to Redgraves Home Fabrics in respect of the contract shall have been paid in full.
Discounts are only applicable if account paid in full on the due date. Final payment is due 7 days from date of invoice. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts.
Our skilled Consultants will help and advice where possible. The final decision on colour and style is solely the client’s choice and responsibility.
A deposit of 50% is required to action this quotation, If installation is delayed due to the client not having completed work that needs to be done prior to installation then a further 40% is payable when manufacture is complete, with the final 10% payable as soon as installation is complete.
This quotation is valid for 30 days.
Conditions of Sale – Custom Products
Non-Refundable Deposit & Order Commitment
All deposits for custom-made products are non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of the order.
Once production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled without full payment, unless agreed in writing by the company.
Right to Remedy Defects
If a defect is identified, the company must be given the opportunity to repair, modify, or replace the product before any other solution is considered.
A refund will not be provided unless required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. That is: only if the defect is deemed substantially exceeding accepted commercial standards, and cannot be remedied within a reasonable timeframe.
Definition of Defects & Limitations
A "defect" refers to a material fault or failure to meet the commercially accepted trade specifications. Minor variations in colour, texture, dye batch or finish do not constitute defects.
The company is not liable for defects caused by:
a) Customer-provided specifications, incorrect measurements, or design choices.
b) Improper, handling, or use by the customer or a third party.
c) External factors such as environmental conditions or normal wear and tear.Timeframe for Fault Reporting
Any defects must be reported in writing within 10 working days of delivery or collection. Claims made outside this period may not be accepted.Compliance with Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in this agreement limits the customer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. However, the company retains the right to rectify faults before refunds or alternative remedies are considered.
